²⁸ The man who burns them is to wash his clothes and bathe his body in water. After that he may re-enter the camp.

²⁹ This shall be a permanent regulation for you: In the seventh month, on the tenth day of the month, you shall humble yourselves, and you shall not do any kind of work, neither the native-born nor the alien who resides among you. ³⁰ For on this day atonement will be made on your behalf to cleanse you. You will become clean from all your sins in the presence of the Lord.
